On August 27, the all-new XPeng P7 was officially launched, and within 7 minutes of its release, the number of pre-orders (with a substantial deposit) exceeded 10,000 units—setting a record for the fastest XPeng new model to reach 10,000 pre-orders. In August, deliveries of the XPeng MONA M03 exceeded 15,000 units, with total deliveries surpassing 160,000 units. On August 27, the XPeng MONA marked its first anniversary since launch; since its release, it has achieved monthly deliveries of over 10,000 units consistently, continuously setting new records in the A-class pure electric sedan market.
Following its global launch, the 2025 XPeng X9 remained a top seller and claimed the championship in pure electric MPV sales in Hong Kong, China and Thailand. Deliveries of the XPeng G6 increased by 11% month-on-month in August. On August 15, XPeng Motors and Volkswagen Group signed an agreement to expand their strategic cooperation on electrical and electronic (E/E) architecture technology. The industry-leading E/E architecture jointly developed by the two parties will not only be integrated into Volkswagen’s pure electric vehicle platforms in the Chinese market but also deployed in Volkswagen’s fuel and plug-in hybrid vehicle platforms in China. On August 19, XPeng Motors released its financial report for the second quarter of 2025, with multiple core metrics—including deliveries, total revenue, gross profit margin, and cash reserves—hitting historical highs. XPeng’s total revenue in the second quarter reached 18.27 billion yuan, up 125.3% year-on-year compared to 2024; total deliveries amounted to 103,181 units, a new quarterly delivery record, with a year-on-year increase of 241.6%; the overall gross profit margin reached 17.3%, up 3.3 percentage points year-on-year, setting a new quarterly high; the automotive gross profit margin hit 14.3%, an increase of 7.9 percentage points year-on-year, and has maintained growth for eight consecutive quarters. As of June 30, 2025, XPeng Motors’ cash reserves on hand stood at 47.57 billion yuan (6.64 billion US dollars), a net increase of 2.29 billion yuan compared to March 31, 2025.
On August 27, the all-new XPeng P7 was officially launched. Positioned as a “future AI luxury sports sedan,” it was released in four variants: 702 Long-Range Ultra, 820 Extra-Long Range Ultra, 750 4WD High-Performance Ultra, and 750 4WD Gull-Wing Ultra. Their official guided prices are 219,800 yuan, 239,800 yuan, 259,800 yuan, and 301,800 yuan respectively. After five years of refinement, the all-new XPeng P7 not only delivers a driving experience comparable to million-yuan-level sports sedans and an advanced 800V + 5C three-electric system but also fully redefines the new standard for AI luxury sports sedans in the 300,000-yuan segment with its ultimate future-oriented original design and all-round AI technology.
