On the Atlantic coast of West Africa, a transportation revolution is quietly taking place at SC, a large-scale cement manufacturer.

SC has always been a loyal customer of SHACMAN brand and has previously used F3000, F2000, and even older S2000 trucks. Thanks to their robust quality, these vehicles have maintained high uptime for many years.

The company’s primary transport route involves a 70km journey from the cement plant, fully loaded with cement clinker, through the core urban area to a project site. The existing fleet of nearly 100 SHACMAN diesel heavy-duty trucks has largely met the transportation needs. However, the introduction of SHACMAN’s H3000ᵉ new energy solution is now changing everything.
Worry-Free Range
The H3000ᵉ redefines efficiency with its massive 350kWh battery pack and intelligent adaptive kinetic energy recovery system. This dynamic duo slashes energy consumption by 6%, delivering a robust 190 km range even when fully loaded. The truck effortlessly handles a 70 km single-trip workload, making round-trips with no charging stops necessary. This completely alleviates SC Company’s long-standing concerns about electric vehicle range anxiety.

Beyond single-trip range, the refueling time of new energy heavy-duty trucks is another critical factor affecting commercial vehicle operational efficiency. H3000ᵉ offers charging and battery-swapping options. A 5-minute rapid battery swap makes refueling as efficient as gassing up a diesel truck. It also supports simultaneous charging with dual charging guns, with a total charging power of up to 250 kW, fully charging the 350 kWh battery in less than 1.5 hours. This drastically reduced refueling time allows H3000ᵉ to have longer operational hours, creating more revenue for the SC company.
Worry-Free Payload
The SC company was also concerned about the payload capacity of a new energy truck. In fact, H3000ᵉ has a heavy-duty performance that is comparable to, or even surpasses, that of its diesel counterparts. Its 410 kW peak power motor can deliver a maximum torque of 2400 N·m. The 16t dual-stage axle, with its large 7.63 speed ratio, is specially designed for heavy-duty starts.
With strong power, H3000ᵉ’s theoretical gross vehicle weight reaches 90 tons, making it well-suited for SC’s daily task of transporting 65 tons of cement clinker with ease.

Worry-Free Security
To enhance safety on the road, H3000ᵉ is equipped with a specially designed construction vehicle bumper, significantly boosting cab protection and safeguarding both the driver and passengers. The standard ABS feature ensures that even during sudden emergency braking, the truck can stop smoothly and effectively, preventing rollovers.

This dual-layered protection—both active and passive—not only secures H3000ᵉ truck as a valuable production tool but, more importantly, protects the “core asset” of SC Company: its drivers.

Currently, SC Company operates a fleet of 20 H3000ᵉ tractors. Surprisingly, the “fuel theft” phenomenon that is common with fuel-powered vehicles no longer exists with the new energy models. Combined with the low cost of electricity, each truck saves an impressive $48.3 per 100 kilometers compared to a traditional fuel vehicle. This remarkable reduction in operational costs highlights the efficiency and positive impact of this new energy vehicle. This revolution in cement transportation is propelling SC Company’s business to new heights.
